Please help!

I have all my components picked out except for the motherboard!

The egg has a TON of combo deals out there right now for the 940 but the combo deals under $300 (my price range) have some pretty troubling reviews... FOXX BIOStar MSI etc...

I don't know if it is worth to get an AM3 compatible board? I don't want to spend $$$ on DDR3 memory (not worth it for me). I have one GPU and do not plan on going Xfire Saphire 512mb 4870 (but it's huge and won't fit on a MicroATX??). I want to overclock for sure (940BE duh). May only have 2 Optical drives and 2 HDDs MAX (no need for excessive ports)

Can anyone suggest a good MOBO for me and attest to its performance?

I plan on upgrading in 2-3 years. So I don't want to invest in something top of the line right now.

HELP! Is this Biostar MOBO any good? Or is it worth the $30 to go Gigabyte?

Nearly all of the combo's offer boards for less than $120.

The biostar board is good but I would take the gigabyte any day. The best is the FX, next the GX.

My wife's rig has a Gigabyte 790GX in it, from a year or so ago. It hasn't given us any grief; I'd buy another. I've got another ASRock 790GX that I built 2-3 months ago that has been running essentially 24/7 without incident. I'd buy ASRock again too.
