The IrDA application on my Palm Tungsten E (or the PalmOne Web site to
update the IrDA connection app for new phones) says it works only with
GSM phones. I have tested it with a Motorola GSM phone I use in Europe
and it works. I use Verizon as my carrier here in the US and they have
CDMA phones with IrDA. Does anyone know how or why the IrDA port on a
CMDA phone would be different than on a GSM phone. My current Verizon
CDMA phone, a Motorola StarTac does not have IrDA so I can't test it.
