who wants to help me building a new fast&passive PC

Hello everyone,

I'm considering to buy a new pc system but it's hard for me to find one, which matches my requirements. I've read a lot of articles the last days, but now I'm still more confused .

My requirements to be fulfilled:
- low power consumption & so a small PSU( maybe passive )
- optical out
- at least one PCI slot
- cpu should be cooled passiv!! (My decent 3000+ Venice Core runs passively /w a huge scythe? tower)
- full 1080p support(h.264)
- able to play with a good! resolution games such as fallout 3

I don't mind if it's a Intel or AMD system.

I'm looking forward for any suggestions

For passive cooling I would recommend Thermalright IFX-14

This comes out to £341.95.

All the high end cards have fans on them so its gonna be tough getting Fallout 3 to run without at least considering water cooling if you really want minimal sound.
I don't have a recommendation on case and a PSU that is passively cooled. You would also need a optical drive but I will let you choose that.

I like Intel boards for core2 duo; you can set the cpu fan speed in the bios from 0 to 10 or 15 on many boards; I use 0 and a starting point of 43c. I can barely hear the fans. For the other fans, use a zalman fan controller. I turn mine to the lowest setting
