KINGSTON PROBLEM

Halo evry1 here......

I hve got my cousin's laptop,

Compaq presario,
He doesnt know the name of graphics card so that I can install the drivers,
as there are no drivers there is no scope to run any games.
Now I hve got KINGSTON 3.73GB pendrive to install some funky games but the problem is that this detects the pendrive but it does'nt show any files in it.This thing's BIOS is protected by password.

Also the thing says that the device(KINGSTON PENDRIVE) can work faster,
what is the problem with the mess.

I think that the computer is having low FSB or low processor speed that's why it'll surely take time,Am I correct?

The complete system specs r.....
Intel p3 1200MHz
almost 85FSB
video card unknown:may be integrated ATI XPRESS 200
128mb RAM

Seems to me the pen drive is copyright protected.

Does it have a little switch somewhere on the pen drive? If so...flip the switch and try that

That has happened to me before when trying to transfer homework to a school computer

Even on trying another pendrive I get the same, the pendrive icon is shown in My coputer,I am even abl 2 opn t bt he problem is he laptop doesnt show the ******* data on it,It is a clear hardware failure the the port is not able to read data.

One last suggestion

Are the correct drivers installed?

Installing wrong drivers is not an uncommon problem thus making it incapable of reading certain hardware
