Upgrading the BIOS in Asus A8AE-LE

I have an HP computer with an Asus A8AE-LE motherboard. The installed BIOS has most features hidden and I wonder if there is a way to unmask them? Specifically, it would be helpful to access the CPU multiplier and other CPU settings as I would like to upgrade the CPU. Any help appreciated, thanks!

I wonder if this OEM motherboard is the same as an Asus branded board that uses the same BIOS?
