Feud

My dad and his friend are in a feud to see who can get the best computer for 10 grand. He put me in charge of doing it for him.

Since my dad is going to lose this because his friend owns a computer shop and my dad knows almost nothing about computer. So i guess this computer will be used for gaming. Any Suggestions?


And yes he is a dumb ass too

First suggestion: Cap your budget at $2.5k. Beyond that you're just pouring cash down the drain. Of course, if you define "best" as best hardware, best looking and best cooling system, you could make it up to $10k easily. I define "best" as best hardware or best bang-for-buck (which you obviously aren't interested in), but that's just my opinion.
