Would AM2 heat sinks+fans work on AM3 motherboards?

Which fan/heat sink will fit on this motherboard? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128419

Im going to buy an OEM Phenom II x3 cpu and need a heat sink. There aren't many AM3 heat sinks on newegg. Would AM2 heat sinks work?

Yes. AM2/2+ Heatsinks will fit AM3 as the socket hole layout is the same.

When I upgraded from an AM2 to an AM3 system I didn't have any problems using the same cpu heatsink.
