I was fortunate enough to win a Synology DiskSatation 410j in a Custom PC magazine competition :bounce: It came with 3 x ST3500418AS 500GB HDDs but that's not nearly enough space (I'd like to use it as RAID5 which leaves me with 1TB). I am thinking about replacing existing HDDs with 3 x 1.5 TB ones.
Which HDDs would you recommend? Seagate ST31500541AS is one candidate. Western Digital WD15EADS-00R6B0 is another possibility. Any suggestions? I would appreciate your advice.

Thanks for your reply Buzznut. I prefer to get the faster bread of HDDs rather than the 'Green' WD models which aren't that quick. The Seagate ST31500341AS is the fastest but it seems to suffer from serious relaibility problems so thanks for pointing it out. ICan anyone suggst alternatives to the ST31500341AS which are more reliable but also as fast as the ST31500341AS?
