Depending on its ratings it will more than likely power your rig... but why not buy a decent PSU to start with... you dont go and buy $1000 worth of computer and power it with a $20 psu.

IMO go back get your money back and buy something better Corsair, Seasonic, Antec, PCP&C

One 4850 video card uses 110 watts and 10 amps at full load.

The Advance 480 is rated at 20 amps. It is a low quality psu of questionable value.

As chookman already mentioned you would be better off with a high quality power supply such as Corsair, PC Power & Cooling, or Seasonic. They are all high quality psu's that are very stable and reliable.

Never skimp money on your PSU. It is one the most important components to always spend as much money on as you can!

I would also add Enermax PSU's to JohnnuLucky's list as they too a very high quality.

I'll second that. I've made a lot of mistakes over the years, but the biggest one was trying to save money by putting in a cheap power supply. It fried almost everything of value in my computer. Some savings, right?
