Who knows. Most of us only have 1 monitor or so. Read the reviews and do your choice. Personnaly i have SP2208WFP from Dell and it's awesome for gaming. I heard very good things for the 24 inch also 2408WFP.

I doubt you can tell the difference there both pretty much the same except for there resolution. the 1st one u posted seems better to me because the screen is wider thous makin it look a lil bit bigger.

The biggest difference:

Acer P244Wbii = 1920 x 1080 resolution (16:9)

Acer P243WAid = 1920 x 1200 resolution (16:10)

Newer games should support 1920 x 1080 resolutions. Older games?

About the contract ratio. the higher is better, but it is also not the same whether we are talking about dynamic contrast or not. The two the you have posted, I would say the 20000:1 is a dynamic for sure, so you cannot really compare the two. The contrast ratio is basically about brightens and how the colorful the picture on the monitor is. Now this is not the only think to consider when buying a monitor. Not always a higher contract ratio means better monitor.

I also agree with huttfuzz, that Dell monitors are really great.
