Red Pixels/ Artifacting with 4870x2

Just finished a new build with an Asus EAH4870x2, with a RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-730SS http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817152036

I seem to be getting annoying red pixels on my desktop. Also worth noting is that my system rebooted when I tried playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

The power connectors are all hooked up, but it should be noted that both run from the same rail. Could this cause the problem?

Also, temps in the CCC seem to be running around 30C

I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled my drivers numerous times, so Ive mostly eliminated this as the source of my problem.

Also, and hopefully not, the card could be defective...

However I am no expert on this topic. Any ideas of exactly what is going wrong here?
