CPU changed no power

I recently installed phenom X4 9950 black edition to motherboard MCP61PM but get no power when I turn it on

On the HP support website (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00906137&lc=en&cc=us&product=3411762&dlc) it doesn't list Phenom as supported CPUs for that MB, just Athlon 64 x2's, Athlon 64's, and Semprons.
Sounds like you'll have to upgrade to a MB that supports your new CPU.

Yes, but this way we get cheap 2nd-hand Phenoms on ebay!
