Allure System

Forum Systems : New Build Allure System

Word :    Username :

Ok...I built my wife a new gaming system using a solid but non-descript case. I shopped around and bought an In Win Allure with the crystals on the side. She loves the look of the case...but...I neglected to note that it uses a Micr-ATX mobo. In her system now she uses an MSI P7N-SLI. So....I need to build a new system for her new case.

Suggestions on a good mico-atx board? I'm going to leave the existing system as is.

Thinking:

Intel cpu: 8500?

AMD/ATU 4850 or 4870 (only 1 card intended)

4gig memory

HD: Likely around 600gig 7200rpm

OS: Likely to use XP license from one of the old systems sitting around (any reason to go to Vista 64?)

PS: Probably a 650ish from a decent brand

the obligatory DVD Writer

Specific suggestions especially on the mobo?
