Connecting ZALMAN FAN MATE 2 !

Hi,Can we connect the fan mate 2 to 3pin and 4 pin fans?I have a p4 with 4pin ,Am i able to connect it,I dont have any 3pins for fans on my mobo?How can i connect it?
