hello, i have aproblem with the sound in my computer. everything was fine until i plugged my computer back on and plugged in my record player through the front mic-in jack then the sound went out. I unplugged it but there was still no sound from my speakers. I opened the realtek sound manager to check the volume but the speaker icon disappeared and the line-in (blue jack) icon appeared checked. Before i was able to go to audio devices menu to change anything if i had to but this time the speaker icon says not-connected while the digital output device is selected as the main output device. i revised my coinnection and my speakers are still plugged in in the rear green jack as usual. I already tried rebooting my computer a dozen times and uninstalled the driver then installing again twice but it keeps doing the same thing. Speaker icon still says not connected but the blue line-in is. Another thing is that when i plug in my headphones normally it would notice me about devices being plugged or unplugged every single time, but even that doesnt pop up anymore and there's no sound coming from my headphones either .So far i know i have realtek ALC888s with 2.18 latest driver. Please help, i depend on this for music production. thanks!!!

Do a system restore to an earlier time.
