CPU install question

Sup guys.

My E8500 and gfx cards should be here within a couple hours, I remember when i first bought and installed my new MoBo that noone told me nor was i aware of that after installing it that i would have to re-install Vista again and i didnt have the discs and still dont..

So my question is, will i have to reinstall Vista again after i swap out my E6300 for my E8500? incase it matters i have the Asus p5n-e sli MoBo.

I don't think it is necessary for either, especially since you are going from Intel Dual Core to another Intel Dual Core. As for graphics, if you are keeping the same brand, as long as you have the newest drivers, I don't think it should be an issue either. Not 100% sure as I usually reinstall for the fun of it, but I think it works that way.

You just made me think about my Gfx card situation now.

Im going from and Ati 1900GT to 2 Nvidia 9800GTX+++'s.

What should i do if anything befor i install them? should i uninstall all the ati drivers i have on my comp befor hand? and how do i do this if so? where do i find them?
