new driver continuously crash OpenGL applications

Ever since the day I updated my 7950GT driver (running SLi), hell has been broken loose... I even try reverting back to the old drivers but the crashes still follow.
Ive updated my mobo bios and same issues still.. I am currently using the 180.84 driver.. Ive tried pretty much every driver from 175.xx to 180.84 and they all crash on start, forcing me to manually restart.

Programs that crashes:
- I can't use Furmark without it crash at start.
- This occurs with GPU caps viewer even though I was able to use it before
- Counter-Strike 1.6 also crashes as well

When SLi is off I am able to run these applications without crashing.
All these applications are OpenGL related so I've just concluded that its SLi conflicting with them but it might even be a bigger problem?

Ive also made sure that it was not a problem with my video cards.. I switched them from slots to see if either was faulty, I even tested the SLI mode in Fallout 3 and no crashes occur.

Before i had updated my driver, everything was fine.. i was able to use Furmark and play CS in SLI mode but ever since then, they crash when i try to use them with SLI
