I know they work on windows vista 64bit, but what i want to know is if they are made for 64 bit so they can take advantage of it and perform better.

As many of you know windows vista 64 bit is faster than 32 bit and if the hardware also supports 64 bit, they will perform better and faster.

This is my hardware:

Quad Core Q9550 @ 2.8ghz
320gb hard drive WD Caviar Blue Model: WD3200AAKS
1tb hard drive WD Caviar Black Model: WD1001FALS
512mb Ge Force 8800 GT Video Card
4gb Ram
Asus P5QC Mother Board

OS Currently Windows Vista 32 bit

money is not a problem i can get the 64 bit version, but what i want to know is if my hardware will take advantage from it.

Yes you should get Vista 64-bit. It will work just the same as the 32-bit version, except that you will see 4 GB of RAM instead of 3 or 3.5. It will also allow you to use more than 4GB if you ever need it. The hardware is not made specifically for 32-bit or 64-bit Windows. That's the drivers' problem.

only the thing that you have to be sure is your printer, scanner, and webcam. Most of their drivers didn't support 64bit.

My 4-year-old printer works fine in 64-bit Vista. It's a good idea to check on 64-bit drivers before upgrading, but "most of their drivers didn't support 64bit" isn't true at all. You either have to have REALLY old hard ware or an obscure brand to have problems at this point.
