Overclocking Phenom II XII

Hello, I was wondering if my motherboard MSI NF750-G55 was able to unlock my Phenom II XII 3.1 Black edition processor. My PSU is 630W 80 certified. I have tried changing my Nvidia Core Calibration to Auto which is what I read to do but my system fails on reboot. So if you can help guide me ina certain direction that would be great.

I made a typo I did not mean Overclocking I meant Unlocking the 3rd and 4th core of the CPU.
