That's actually the mindset of a lot of people posting when someone has problems. The first thing they do is tell them to start replacing parts. A lot of the problems I've seen people posting about were either user error or incompatible parts, not hardware problems.

That's a tough one. I'm leaning towards either a PEBKAC error or ID Ten-T error. Happens way too often when folks misalign their coffee cups in the cup holders.

I think you'd be best off taking the system over to a Big Box computer store and let their professional staff laugh at... err... Take a look at it. Regardless, I think you're looking at a tremendous outlay of cash to get it fixed.
