Monitor for New System

Ok, i'm looking for a nice 22'' monitor for my new Sapphire HD4870 1GB. i've been looking around for a while, but no monitors have come up in any new builds for a while, so here i am. cheaper is better, but obviously significant quality increases are worth the money.

i've had a samsung (syncmaster 930B) that's done me well for years now, but i'm open to changing companies. i've tried to research this a bit, but it's difficult. some sites go into too much detail (xbit labs http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/monitors/) and others don't get enough detail.

monitor is used for gaming (fallout 3, red alert 3, bioshock...).

With your vga card, you should be looking at a 24" 1920x1200 monitor.
I have heard good things about the value of the SOYO 24 and 26" monitors.

on average how much more expensive is a 24''? have 24'' LCD's begun getting high end gaming response times? TN matrix or better?

I love the new dell that just came out... it's spendy, but it's awesome.
My buddy just got one running on a GTX 260 and it's amazing...

The Acer looks like it's got a shot, $320 w/ 2ms GTG response. What's the GTG for?

This elimanates the need for dual monitors that's for sure. Also has the 1900X1200 which would be prime time for your card. Something to note is there's two versions of this monitor. The difference being in the stand.

that looks like a grea monitor, but a bit pricey again. i'm hoping to get something $300 or less, especially with black friday deals coming up.

TN matrices are ok for me, since i need cheap and fast.
