I have Pinnacle Studio 10 on my laptop to create home video DVDs. I have imported still photos to be part of my movie. The photos themselves are of very good quality (2272 x 1704 Pixels (3.87 MPixels) (4:3) After I import these videos into Studio and put them in my movie, the quality is significantly reduced. The photos are blurry. Pinnacle never gave me an exact answer. They just suggested I update my graphics card driver or got a better one. Does this make sence (to anyone who knows anything about graphics cards; because I don't) Is my graphics card the problem? Is the ATI 3100 graphics card a good enough one for what I am trying to do? Should I get a better one? If so, what do you suggest?
Usually when a Photo is implemented into a video, the photo gets resized to the resolution of the video. You should check the video resolution and just try to resize the photo using another tool. Some are better than others.
As far as i can tell, they are just trying to get you off their backs easy - it's got nothing to do with your video card.
