Okay I have a 4850x2 which flies but is severely bottlenecked by my brisbane 5800 with a 5% OC. I have a gigabye ma-770-ud3 MB based on 700 southbridge and 770 NB. I am considering a Phenom II 940, or wait for 945. I won't be adding another GPU card, as my 650w PSU is already being tested, and I don't think a game will be out in the next 3 years that the 4850x2 can't at least mosey along in. I don't need any IGP, although I read something about hybrid systems, could I relegate Physx to IGP and have 4850x2 do everything else graphics related? The main quesiton though is if I do upgrade to PhenomII will I then be bottlenecked by my 770NB and 700SB motherboard, and what would be potential FPS gains of upgrading to 790 + 750? Thanks alot fellas.

when the cache sizes and architecture are all the same do the manufacturers just ship a overclocked version of the lower speed one?
