Hey guys,

I periodically upgrade my rig to keep it somewhat less than obsolete when it comes to gaming. For example I started way back when with an Athlon 2400+ paired with a Geforce 5200 I think. Now I'm running a C2Q Q6600 paired with dual Geforce 7900GT's in SLI. I have a slight problem though. I feel like its time to upgrade my graphics cards (before the 7900's are too obsolete to sell on ebay). I feel like the best choice for me would be an ATI Radeon HD4850 512MB. However, at my last mobo upgrade, I went with an Nvidia Nforce chipset (I think its a 750i, but I'm not sure since I'm not at home right now). My question is, will I run into problems trying to run an ATI card on my mobo's chipset? Or, do I need to try and spring for a new mobo too. Suggestions on either motherboards or graphics cards are more than welcome.
