Averatec 3200 BIOS Locked!

How do I unlock the Bios? I bought the laptop used, have it apart, but can't find the '24' chip. I'm a Dell guy and usually will short across the '24' chip to get it back to specs when it was built. ie password UNlocked. Help please.
