Benchmarking!!! all are welcome

hello everyone! this thread will be used to see who has the best computer (most likely it will not be me lol). we will be using 3dmark06 default everything, crysis benchmarking tool 1280X1024 and 1440X900 resolution with all settings on high, time of day:9. take a screenshot of your system's configuration with CPUID and GPUID as well as your crysis and 3dmark06 benchmark score and post here.

lolol im not finished ocing yet! post back a bit later... btw if you're using the very high hack in xp, it won't show up... so when we select High it's actually testing Very High :lol:

i think the natural mod actually improved my fps tbh, and it looks better!

my very high hack doesnt do that. mine is an optional type of thing...

i have yet to download the natural mod. is it really worth it? or will it devestate my system even more??
btw, i game @ 1920x1080P all high settings
soo i cant really sacrifice much performance...

nah, natural mod is ftw. plus its easy to uninstall. seriously, crysis with the natural mod is just amazing... especially in the first few levels. you round the corner to the first enemy outpost in Contact, and the world slowly brightens and the sun shines through a palm tree... just amazing.

all without a single stutter too

im just worried my framerate is gonna drop more. (like it needs to drop anymore lol)

IIRC, Roadrunner has a 4670, so I doubt we'll be seeing him in a graphics benchmark thread

He beats me on hard drive benches though...

I have a Bigwater 760i with another rad and pump just for the cpu. My normal voltage is 1.5, but for some reason its not stable for 3dmark06.

isnt roadrunner the guy that kept slamming AMD becuase he had his almighty i7 920. (bottom of the barrel i7 CPU xDD)

the 965 is too damn expensive while the 920 is a still a decent price. I think he made a good decision.

i dont think i'll ever buy an i7 system. too expensive for my tastes.
im saving up for a phenomII though. cant wait to hit 4ghz on air woooot!!!

awesome! so how much did you get ur CPU up to? (squeeze as much performance into the benchmark as possible lol)
