My hard drive keeps making this constant tick sound that is driving me nuts. It only does it when playing games, specifically NBA 2k10, and somewhat on Bad Company 2. It also doesn't do it right away, I usually have to be playing for a bit for it to happen.

Any idea why its doing this? Dieing drive maybe? Its a Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200.12

Also, I just rand HD Tune 2.55 benchmark (which I assume uses the hard drive a lot) and it doesn't make that tick sound... it seems that in some games its like the read/write head keeps jumping for some reason...

I would get that bad boy backed up while you still have access to it. The arm in the drive is, most likely, hitting the spindle and eventually will cause the R/W Head to hit the platter. You still might get some use out of it, but make damned sure you have it backed up, because it's probably about to go.
