How to put Opltiplex GX1 XP in to safe mode?

Hello,
My monitor is out of range and it has a black screen. And I don't know what to do I can't see any thing. So I would like to know what button to push to get my computer to go in to safe mode, my computer is a Optiplex GX1 TOWER,with XP PRO IS THE os!!
