Black Friday sales started, and I put together a budget system that seems pretty sexy, suggestions/advice...bottom line, is it a good price??? keep in mind the prices are in canada, and because of our weak ass dollar the prices are much higher than in the US, sux to be us
CPU+Mobo = Asus P5Q Pro and e8400 combo deal = $299 after $15 rebate GPU = 2 x Palit 3870 = $65 after $45 rebate, times 2 = $130 for crossfire performance!!! RAM = Mushkin ddr2-800 5-4-4-12 @ 1.8v = $65 Case = Antec 300 = $40 HSF = OCZ Vendetta 1 = $23 after $5 rebate Hard Drive = Seagate 500gb 7200rpm 32mb $65 PSU = Corsair 650w = $95 after $30 rebate
$717+taxes = 752.85
Is this a good build for its price? I am in Canada, so only companies that ship to Canada...does Newegg.ca ship within Canada? Or do they ship from the US? Don't wanna get hit by customs...Will CF 3870 let me run just about everything in 1920x1200? Please any opinions welcomed, I'm planning to buy it as soon as I get some feedback on my build! Help me out sons of Tom's!!!!

ya sorry about that, i forgot alot of details haha.
about the GPUs...i mean...130 total for CF GPUs, nothing really beats that right?
I mean one 4850 would cost me..200
So I save 70 bucks, and cf 3870 would outperform a single 4850 by far?
I'm not planning to upgrade after this build...I'll wait 2 years, and buy sexy monster than. right now no games to play need some D3
ram is dd2 800
seagtae 7200
corsair is 100% compatible.
how does the rest look?
what's better if i don't plan on upgrading, 1 single 4850, or 3870 in CF?
found this...http://www.tweaktown.com/articles/1470/3/radeon_hd_4850_in_crossfire_at_4ghz/index.html
at $65 each, that looks very tempting!!!
cf 4850s would run me 300+
hmm HD3870 in xfire thats interesting I m not sure if its faster than HD4850 at these resloutions through, I used to have a 3870 it struggled at high resloultions with AA on and all that so I think you best beat will acturly be at least a HD4850 at least for that resolution in fact more like a HD4870 will be more approit, but if budget is a problem than nothjing can be done.
so yeah a single HD4850 first off than you can upgrade later. nice choice on the powersupply...ecerything elses seems fine, if you want to sqeese a few more FPS out of the multi card setup you might want X48 but they are expesnive
