Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2

This Motherboard has The smart quick boost technology with a maximum overclock of 3.2 Ghz available.
I am new and have no idea how to overclock the i5 750 manually through bios I will learn that later but the Ram I intend to use is DDR3 1333 mhz. Most articles on Overclocking I have read tend to suggest that if you overclock the cpu beyond a certain level you have to overclock the Ram as well is that True? Also if I get the 1333mhz ram will that be an issue with overclocking ?

  1. I'm not a real expert but I would say no...
Although I would overclock the fact I overclocked my ram from 1333 to 1600
just be sure to loosen the timings...
And no, there shouldn't be a problem overclocking if you get 1333Mhz ram...
  2. which motherboard u using?
