Wifes computer has an A7N8X mobo with 1 stick of 333 ddr ram, 512 mb. I have 2 sticks of 266 ddr ram, 256 mb each. The mobo has 3 memory slots, so the question is this. Would 1 gig of 266 be better than 512 meg of 333? Iknow that having 266 in with 333 would make it all run at 266. Running XP sp2.

XP usually runs fine with 512 MB of memory, unless she uses her computer for gaming. Check memory utilization and if it's close to 512 MB, then 1 GB will make it slightly faster. If it is much lower than 512 MB, then leave it as is.
