I downloaded a batch of new houses with families for the neighborhood I'm
playing in Sims 2. Afterward, when I tried clicking on one of the new
houses, or on a house and family I've been playing all along, the game
abended.

I uninstalled the game, keeping my saved games, and then reinstalled it and
re-ran the patch. And now I can go into the house and family I've been
playing, but those sims have the jump bug when they try to throw a party,
and when I check their memories there's nothing there.

Any suggestions to fix this?
