Hello all,
I am trying to install on my IP35 pro desktop a PCMICA air card, specifically a novatel v620. I bought a Rosewill RC 500 PCI to PCMICA adapter. When I installed it in my computer it refused to boot. I received a error code 25, which has to do with resource allocation to the pci devices and the video card. The ip35 pro has three pci slots and I tried the card on all three with the same result.
As soon as I removed the pci adapter the computer would boot with no problem. I Consulted the MB manual but nothing helped.
Your help will be appreciated. Where I live there is no dsl available. If this air card card, which I use on my laptop, does not work I am relegated to dial-up.
I have recently upgrades my WinXp Pro 32bit to SP3.

Your Rosewill RC-500 PCI to PCMCIA adapter might be defective. Have you tried it in another PC? Since it's PnP, you shouldn't have to change anything in the BIOS (though you can always check if there are settings specific to PCI slots).
