I am able to view the computer network and each computer but not able to access the other computer in the network.. keep getting error message you do not have permission to access... how do I make each computer accessable on each computer in the network?
First, make sure all computers have the same WORKGROUP name, but different PC names, as I assume you do not have a server, there should be no Domain setups.
Second, go to window explorer and right click the folders you want to share and go to sharing, enable and if wanted rename for share only. Then look at security and set which users you want to allow access to that folder. Resetting workgroup names may require a reboot, do so on all computers that need it.
