hi - i have a HP desktop about 4 years old. Its crashed about 3 times before and ive always been able to have it fixed. this time i doubt it. i was told it was a hardware problem and if it can be fixed it mos likely will happen again.
any suggestiions? can it be fixed? can hardware be bought and re-installed into the cpu? can I have the computer re-built?

thanks for any help :-)

Can you please be specific? What do you mean by it "crashed"?

Need some more details but knowing HP and the age of the machine my first guess would be your PSU is failing.

what could fail that after replaced would be likely to happen again? dust in the case?
