Hello to everyone and a Happy Thanksgiving too.
I realize that due to the holiday I may not receive too many replies, but I just want to get the post out while I have time. This is my first post so please let me know what post mistakes I have made so I can better my experience and help you to see my problem clearer. I have belarc advisor and will start with the specs from this program. I have access to othe programs but none are installed right now. (SANDRA basic and 2005 version, Everest free, 3DMark06 pro, 3DMark05 pro maybe others but cant think of the names).

Just a little about me..
My name is matthew and my education involved completing an Electronics Technology Degree, which would put me just a bit above your average joe in computers. Or an average rating on the Tech knowledge scale. However, I am learning quite a bit every month from the internet. A very interesting place I might say.

On to the problem at hand..
I have built a new desktop and am faced with a lot of options in the BIOS and am looking for some help there. example I am in the testing phase with 3DMARK06 and would like to know how to set BIOS for maximum performance with the 8800GTS nvidia card. Maybe advice on other programs that help the 8800GTS like Ntune or whatever its called now. There was a thread that listed the BIOS settings for getting started but I lost it somewhere. I also noticed that if I run the Dynamic Energy Saver program from Gigabyte that I have to keep several BIOS settings enabled or it will not work at all. I will go to BIOS and retrieve the names on next post(reply?)
Would like some advice on any programs to avoid like Xpress Recovery 2 (which I think ruined at least one hard drive on my last build)(or was it Xpress Recovery 1????) will be installing the Teaming program for the two NICs on this MOBO and have zero knowledge about this other than its supposed to balance the workload on two NICS not one(only have one internet connection through a 2wire router w wireless or a speedstream modem or motorola modem,- have 2wire connected right now LOL)
And any other advice on this mobo which will be used for gaming primarily as I am into BF2 now. Plus basic internet usage.
