Hello, i have been trying to determine my gpu's max overclocked potential without taking away from its lifespan...any suggestions on how to test stability rather than play a game for a while? Any preset standards to start off with?

Use MSI's Kumbustor to test for GPU stability :

Download MSI's Afterburner + Kombustor and you are set =)

Doesn't it come with a lifetime warranty? If so, no worries about overclocking it right?

I only overclock my GTX 260 for benchmarks. It's fast enough on my 23" monitor and E8400 @ 3.6 Ghz.
