I have a ASUS P5N-EM motherboard, it was working fine for a couple months and now when I try to start it up the motherboard alarm goes off. It won't even bring up the BIOS. Any suggestions

it is constant

I tried a video card to see if the onboard card might've been the problem. But it didn't work. I was told adding a separate video card would override the onboard video. I'm not sure if that's true or not, but it was worth a try. No successful.

Resetting the CMOS change the tone from constant to hi low hi low continuously.

RAM could be bad which wouldn't allow POST. Could also be Conficker worm, which corrupted either the RAM or BIOS chip on your motherboard.
