I just recently bought a 9800gt and in the very far distance ( like when i use a scope on a gun, especially sniper) I can see a few flashing textures, especially in trees. ( the only games i have where i can look far in the distance is BF2 and Crysis) . Is this a hardware or a software issue? any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Software issue. Try playing at higher resolutions.

1280x1024 is the highest my monitor goes to and thats what i have it set to. just as long as its not a hardware issue I can live with it. thanks for the response.

Get the latest patches it could also be a glitch in the drivers. Aslong you didn overclock your card to extreme speeds or allow it overheat to your fine.
