Remove personal security

Hello,
personal security does not allow me to download anti virus, i know know personal security is a virus, but i cannot get rid of it. not even in control panel, it does not let me get into add or remove programs. what can i do?

Use google and find the root of the virus and delete yourself..or just do a clean install.

Well, here's the manual removal process for your problem, I guess when you try to Google for it from your machine, it ain't going to allow you to see how to kill it....

Kill processes:
psecurity.exe

Delete registry values:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent\post platform "WinTSI 01.12.2009"

Unregister DLLs:
win32extension.dll


Delete files:
psecurity.exe Uninstall.lnk win32extension.dll Computer Scan.lnk Help.lnk Personal Security.lnk Registration.lnk Settings.lnk Update.lnk


Delete directories:
C:\Program Files\PSecurity
C:\Program Files\Common Files\PSecurityUninstall
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\PSecurity
