I am going buy DDR3 motherboard...

Someone told me that DDR3 m.board doesn't support DDR2 ram!!!

Is it true...???

I want to buy DDR3 motherboard for future upgrade....plz anyone help me

You can buy motherboard that supports both formats. DDR2 wont work in DDR3-only motherboard.

The answer is no, you cannot use DDR2 DIMMs on a DDR3 motherboard (and vice-versa). There are electrical differences between two DDR technologies and even though both DDR2 and DDR3 DIMMs have 240-pins the DIMMs are physically keyed to prevent you from being able to do this.
