For the above boards, is there a preference for a crossfire system with one GPU with an additional GPU to be added later?

I'm planning on building a mid-range gamer.

If you want to go with the 790FX chipset, I would suggest you go with this

It has DDR2 and not DDR3. So you can save some money on the RAM...
And there isn't much difference using a DDR3 over a DDR2.

But if you want to save some money, get the Gigabyte ma790xt

Thanks the reply. I do have a choice of the two MoBo's which I can get for free (or $10 for the 790FX) so I need to know which one will be best to add an additional XFire GPU down the road.
