Hello,

I bought HIS 4870 512mb for my brother. I setup the software on vista 64 edition. But, vista performance gives me only 5.7 because of the graphic card, and i find that big card runs slower than my 4850. I think it is because of the driver. But, ati web site has 8.12 which is what i have now.

Where can i find stable drive for my os?

Thanks.

Maybe it would help if you used driver sweeper and then reinstalled 8.12

Also vista performance index is not really important, whats important is how it performs in the real world, like in games.

Yeah, make sure you have everything updated.
Are you undercutting power or anything?

I will try that. I understand that the index is not important, but the performance is not smooth like my 4850. i can tell the difference.

Thanks.
