Guys im buying a phenom II 940 but im confused about which mobo to get. the 790x gigabyte mobos are still not available here in India and i have read reviews saying that the 780g is not a very good chipset for ocing. should i but a nvdia chipset mobo if so then which one?? i dont mind if there is only 1 pcie2.0 slot coz i wont be running two cards. my max budget is $125 for the mobo.

plz help me out thanks!

sid_nag17, it all depends on whether the 790 AMD chipset modo will be available soon enough for you. It's true, the 790 is the way to go for o/clocking, but otherwise the 780 is good enough. Trouble with NVidia is that they haven't released a good motherboard for the AMD CPU for a while, you also have the knowledge that the AMD CPU with an AMD chipset will always play nice together. The answer is.... how long can you hold out?
