8GB USB Flash drive turned into a 250MB one? Help!

So I thought I would take a weekend and try out Chrome OS booted from a USB flash drive, in my case a 8GB Sandisk Cruzer. So I followed this tutorial, created the bootable usb flash drive, and tried out Chrome OS. It worked fine. However, when I was done and went to reformat the drive for normal usage, it reformatted, from FAT32 to NTFS, but I ended up with a capacity of 250MB instead of its original 8GB, and for some reason it has 23.7MB in use even though there is now NOTHING on the drive(hidden files and folders in plain view enabled). Help!

You could try to check the USB drive through Disk Management and try deleting the partition and recreating it.

Warning: I've not tried this, so dont sue me. Just a suggestion
