I have the Coolermaster CM 690 II advanced case and the airflow chart as you can see

http://resources.vr-zone.com/image_deposit/up2/12403258409ed3795e23.jpg

Shows the air intake in the front and the exhaust in the back BUT the recommended setup with the cooling I'm getting (Corsair H50 watercooler) has fresh air from the back of the case being drawn in to cool the radiator. I was thinking this would mess up the circulation quite a bit. Should I try a different airflow setup or will the one posted above with the exception of the back exhaust being an intake be ok?

Also a bonus question!!! I need a recommendation for some good fans that will have nice airflow while hopefully not sounding like a vacuum.

Why don't you just flip one of the upper exhaust fan for that, or you could still install the H50 as per the recommended setup guide at the rear fan and put another fan at the sidepanel (on top of the cpu) to be the exhaust..just try to experiments by yourself, finding which one has the best effect on temps :)

for the fans, I personally used Coolermaster silent ones, the airflow aren't that good but I prefer silence..
buy this if got some money to spare: Noctua NF-P12

Hey street1030!

I have the same case as you and am thinking of getting the H50 also!! I'm just wondering what you have done in the end? Where have you fitted the radiator? Is there plenty of room for it in the case? And has you core temp been improved much buy the H50?

kind regards,

Duncan
