I looks like your GPU isn't getting enough juice. It will lower its speed to a "safe mode" if it isn't getting enough power.

To test you could set your CPU to default, your video card to default speeds and run it with only 2GB or RAM and if you get a higher score than you are definitely not getting enough juice as these three things will lower your power needs.

lol no that certainly is not right! i get like 20-30fps in crysis @ high+8x AA 1440x900 on my 9600GT+e5200!

you are running very high, it's expected. try all high, your fps will be in the 40-60s range and it won't look very much different.

Nothing seems to run crysis well on very high at stock speeds, except tripple SLI on an i7.

Ive seen 14000 with way less hardware then what you got.

Crysis + very high kills systems. I'm not surprised by those framerates, and that new 3dmark score sounds about right.

I wouldn't worry. 3dmark seems to be a bit odd at times - I've seen an 8800GT outscore an 8800GTX on the same system, despite the fact that the GTX is faster in almost all games. What were the subscores on that 13000 run (sm2.0, sm3.0, cpu)?
November 29, 2008 7:40:11 PM

i overclocked my CPu to 3.42ghz
now im getting 15112!!!
SM 2.0 Score 7076
SM 3.0 Score 7510
CPU Score 3069

strange how it went up so much from 3.16ghz to 3.42ghz

Good job! :p

But I still have you beat with dual 8800GTX's :D  , not fair really though, two cards against one in this case.

Out of curiosity, what do you get with 8800GTX SLI?
