DDR2 Memory Expansion Board

All,

I have a Gigabyte P45 motherboard with 4 memory slots that are all being used up with 2GB DDr2 800 MHz memory giving a total of 8GB. I am running Hyper-V and need to expand this to 16GB however, 4GB DDR2's are around the $500 mark which is too expensive.

Is there any Memory Expansion boards that you can buy that I can put 3 DIMMs on the board then plug the board into one of my slots to expand the memory to 16GB.
Back in the day you used to be able to get memory expansion boards for 486's so i figure there may be something similar for my current problem.

I have seen them, just Google around for them.
However, all the ones I have seen vary from $350~$750.
Might be better to sell the memory you have, and just buy new memory.

I have googled around but can find nothing except lots of links to HP memory expansion boards for DL servers.

I have looked for exactly the same thing, cand came up emtpy as well. Did you manage to find anything? I would love to hear that then.
