I just put together a new computer and have been having motherboard problems. The first one didn't work with my ram and the second one didn't work at all. So I need any suggestions that you guys might have on motherboards that will work with my hardware and are reliable, and easy to install. By easy I mean little or no messing with anything in the BIOS to get it to work. Cost isn't really an issue I just want my PC to work.

The two crap motherboards I have already tried are these:
Intel BOXDX48BT2
ASUS Striker II NSE

My hardware is this:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550
OCZ Gold 4GB DDR3 1600
EVGA GTX 280

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Kyle

Will the "gigabyte EP45-UD3" work with DDR3 1600 RAM?

No. The ep45-ud3 uses ddr2 only. I have a p45 asrock board that works with ddr3 if interested. It's a product sample.

Are these boards reliable?

I think so. If you look at Newegg reviews each of them has 14% reviews with one egg and 56 or 63% reviews with 5 eggs. That's a decent ratio. Read the reviews yourself to get a better idea.

The GA-EP45-UD3P is a lot better reviewed (76% 5 eggs, 6% one egg) but you'd have to buy DDR2 for it.

ASUS P5Q-E.. I LOVE mine.

That's a good one too, but we're trying to find one that works with DDR3.
