hi guys

i am having some problems with my hd4850 toxic, using everest my idle temperature is around 55-60ºc full load is 80-85ºc, my ambient temperature is around 35-38ºc, i am wondering if its nomal temperature or there is something wrong, can someone help?

The 4850's run very hot, it's not just you.

there's nothing WRONG with that exactly, its quite normal for a 4850. and certainly for an overclocked 4850... go into CCC and turn up the fan speed :) see what happens.

imo 80 C is fine under max load, but 60-70 seems to be what most people consider "safe" so experiment with noise/temp ratios until you're happy.

i tried 100% on CCC but i heard 4850 toxic have the fan locked at max speed already :(
